Howdy! My name is Floyd and I'm the most handsome hound mix this side of the Cuyahoga! Don't let my pictures deceive you - I may look medium sized but I'm actually 80 lbs of love! The nice folks at The Rescue Inn pulled me from the Cleveland Kennel a few months ago. I do have to admit...I wasn't in that great of shape. I was 51 lbs, emaciated and wasn't too familiar with living in a home. My amazing foster mom put some meat on my bones and with some TLC I think I'm looking mighty fine! I am a healthy 3 years old, housebroken and fitting into my foster home nicely!

I enjoy company of all types - kids, dogs, snakes, birds - you name it! I don't live with a cat but I have visited some at the vet's office and have not reacted, so I might be okay with my feline buddies as well (we can always check that out). When I first came to TRI, I had a demodex manage but that is all cleared up. It seems like the demodex may have been triggered by something called "allergies." My TRI friends are trying to figure out the exact cause of my allergies so they took all my treats away! UNFAIR! (But, I understand). I am eating a special brand of dry dog food - and only that dog food - so we can determine my allergy triggers. I'm looking for a family that will help me keep my "itchies" under control, lavish me with attention and tell me how smart I am daily! :)
