My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

His foster mom changed his name to Teddy, because he is cuddly like a teddy bear ! His given name from the shelter is Portland and he is approx 5-6 years old and 36 lbs. He was rescued from the back yard of a foreclosed home. The neighbor that rescued them said that the owners of the house had bred the parents and his mom was a lhasa apso and his dad a terrier mix. They both had been left outside in the yard since birth and were very scared. Portland will now go out to the yard on his own and chase the squirrels and birds, he is very sweet, well behaved , gets along with cats, does love to go on walks and jumps right up into the car to go for a ride, he has come a long way is ready for a new home with someone to give him lots of love and TLC. - From his foster mom - Portland is doing so well! He is eating like a champ, going out into the yard by himself and playing a little with the others. He gives kisses and rolls over for belly rubs. He even barked out in the yard yesterday, I was surprised when he threw his head back and gave up this low howl. So cute!
