Shiloh's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Shiloh's Story...
Shiloh and her partner London used to be ramblers-- until they had one-too-many close encounters with cars and these two dogs were brought into the Shelter for safety. Now Shiloh makes it her business to keep that smile on her face-- usually by "telling us all about it" and bossing London around (can't let him get too full of himself, now can we?)

Our adoption process:
It is our goal to match each animal with the most compatible home, based on their personality and temperament. In order to do this we ask that all potential adopters fill out an adoption interview, as well as talk with a staff member about what they are looking for in a new pet. By doing this we can better match adoptee with an adopter. Resulting in forever homes!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Bryson City Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Bryson City, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Bryson City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bryson City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bryson City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bryson City paves the way for another one to be saved.
