Asha's Story...
Name: Asha
Color: Tan
Breed: Shepherd and Retriever Mix
Gender: Female
Age: 1 Year
Asha is a sweet, playful girl who needs a patient and loving home who can help bring her out of her shell. Asha is incredibly shy and leery of strangers; she needs a small family who will slowly and properly introduce her to new people.
Big fan of: Once Asha has warmed up to you, which is easily done with kneeling next to her without looking at her and tossing her a few tasty treats, she loves to play gently with you and cuddle. She is a lovely girl who just needs the right home who can help her flourish. Asha is incredibly clever and would love to learn a wide variety of tricks. She will also need a long daily walk or jog every day to stay happy.
Special Features: It will be required that Asha be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized. This will provide everyone with the skills to get her properly socialized as well as help her bond to her new owners.
Dream Home: Because of her timid nature, Asha will need to be in a home with no current children, no children coming over, and no plans to have children during her lifetime. They would just be far too overwhelming. However, a confident cat and even a mellow, confident male dog would be alright by Asha that can keep her company.
