Maizey's Story...
**FOSTER HOME NEEDED**
Hi my name is Maizey! Do you know what that means? They tell me it means "pearl". Well, I guess I must be a black pearl but I didn't come from any oysters.

My family had a human baby and decided they didn't have enough time for me so I had to go to a big place with lots of other dogs. I like other dogs but I don't like this place; I'd like to get out and meet some people and run and play! Will you consider giving me a foster home or even adopting me?

Maizey is a 17 mo black Great Dane. She's a sweet and affectionate girl who is friendly with other dogs, (especially with slow intros) but she cannot be around cats. She loves meeting new people, running in the yard, and laying on the couch. She walks well on a leash and is already spayed, UTD on shots, and is house and crate-trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maizey, a Phoenixville Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Phoenixville, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Phoenixville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenixville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenixville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenixville paves the way for another one to be saved.
