I am a 4-year-old spayed female Cairn Terrier/Terrier mix. I weigh about 15 pounds.
My friends think I look like a fox. That's where the name Foxy came from! Not to worry though, I act nothing like a fox. I am a super sweet girl and I love everybody I meet - people and dogs alike! You won't have trouble introducing me to a crowd.
I'm an inquisitive gal who yearns to know more about the world. I'm always looking around for interesting sights and sounds. It would be great if I was invited to come along when my family went on exciting adventures. I would be so grateful for the experience and I promise I will be well-behaved!
I'm also hoping that my new family will want to shower me with the love and affection I've always deserved. I came into a local high-kill shelter with 10 other dogs. We all lived together so I didn't get much individual attention. I feel like I just blended in with the rest of the pups. No one really had the opportunity to see how special I am.
What would a perfect day for me look like? I'm so glad you asked! It would start with some morning belly rubs and then a romp around the yard. More pets and then a cuddle session while I fall asleep in your lap. Maybe a trip to the dog park or a walk around the neighborhood after that. You'll probably need to get some work done at some point, am I right? I wouldn't mind playing with my toys alone while you take care of things. I'm not a super needy girl, I just like to know that my family loves me and wants to spend time with me.
