Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I’m Raider, a Dachshund mix about 8 months old and ready to roll! In January The Pet Rescue Center staff pulled me from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia. They just knew that given a chance, I would have no problem finding a home. I mean, who could resist my wiry coat and super floppy ears. Since I’m still a puppy I’m in need of an active home where I will get guidance, training and lots of playtime. My super sweet, fun and easy going personality would surely fit into your home as long as your willing to both frolic and cuddle in equal measure. If you like short guys with brown eyes and big ears come visit me at The Pet Rescue Center!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
