Here's what the humans have to say about me:
015-01-29: Hello Families. My name is Champ 6! I know what you are thinking; is he really a champ? I could be one day with the right guidance. I am a 2 year old lab mix and I weight 61 lbs. I could stand to gain some weight as I am a bit skinny. I have come into rescue from a local shelter.
At my foster house I live with two other dogs, a cat and 2 teenage children and they are all very nice. My best friend is the family’s dog Trojan, we looooove to play together. I am good with the kitty too. I like to play with other dogs but I also settle down when I need to. When I go to live in my forever home I would love to live with another dog. I am crate trained and even though I would prefer to be with a person at ALL times, I will go in my crate when I am asked to. I never ever go potty in the house; I heard that is a big NO-NO so I am a good boy at that. I don’t pull on leash but I need some leash training as I tent to wonder around just so I can investigate everything.
My foster mom says I am a medium energy dog so an active family would be great for me. I should be placed with kids over the age of 8 since I am still bouncy at times. I just love everyone!!!
I am really looking forward to my forever home so if you think I sound like your type of guy contact your family rep right away. My foster family is great at giving me lots of love, but the more I hear about these ‘forever families’ the more I think I should probably get one of my own. My foster mom says that SCLRR families make the best forever families so I think that is the kind of forever family for me.
Have a Wonderful Day, families. I can’t wait to meet you!
