George Bailey was known as Foofy at City of Aurora Animal Control. He is up to date on his vaccinations and he was neutered on December 23. He is 4-5 years old and 12 pounds. He is available for adoption from Sita's Dog Sanctuary & SafeHaven Animal Shelter.
Georgie is doing great with crate training! Right now we think George Bailey would probably do best in a home with older kids and no cats. He is friendly with other small dogs. Georgie knows "sit" and "gimme paw." Georgie has been limping and we took him for x-rays. We found out that Georgie had broken his leg a couple months ago and it had already started to heal! It will be healing for the next year on its own because it wasn't set properly. At least now he has a soft bed and blankie to sleep on.
