Max's Story...
Max is a 7 year old handsome boy who thinks he's about 2 or 3! Poor Max was surrendered to the shelter because of an infected, swollen toe. With his paw wrapped in a blood soaked towel, and unable to use the leg, he was abandoned by his 'family'. After diagnosing him with squamous cell, our vet did surgery on the toe and Max now is ready to find a home!

Max sure has some pep in his step. Max is really good at bringing his toy back and letting it go so you can throw it again. Max is playful, sweet, laid back, and just plain awesome. Max is a loving boy who is a knockout! It's hard to believe he's really 7 as shared by his 'family'. Contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Frederick Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
