COOKIE's Story...
Cookie was rescued from a situation in which her owner was literally neglecting her. He allowed her to become pregnant by not spaying her, and then he let her have the puppies outside in the cold. Our rescue was informed of this and some good Samaritans help us talk him into surrendering her over to us. She has proved to be such a wonderful and sweet natured girl, Great with other dogs and great with children of all ages. Her puppies are absolutely beautiful and are listed on our adopt a pet page as well. She is doing great and her amazing foster home and is house trained, and crate trained. Her adoption fee of 425 includes her spaying, up-to-date shots including her five and one canine shot, her Bordetella kennel cough vaccination, her rabies vaccination, her negative heartworm test and six-month pro heart injection shot for heartworm prevention, her health certificate from the vet required to travel out-of-state for adoption, and her transport from Memphis to your area once adopted. For an application on the sweet girl please email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COOKIE, a Rochester Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
