NANNY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Nanny is a beautiful, 1 year old female Chocolate Lab/Weimaraner mix. This lovely girl was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. She inherited a gorgeous dark chocolate coat from the Lab and gorgeous green eyes and a short docked tail from the Weimaraner, she's also slightly larger than most Labs. Shortly after arriving in our rescue, Nanny gave us quite the surprise when we learned she was expecting after taking her in for a spay appointment! She gave birth to a beautiful litter of pups on 3/3/15. Nanny has been a wonderful and proud mother, but would love to have a family of her own now that her pups are weaned. She is a very friendly, affectionate and happy dog. She loves making new friends and has yet to meet a stranger. Nanny does well with children and she will fit in easily with most households. She loves to go for walks and spend time outdoors, but is more on the mellow side for a young dog of sporting breed heritage.Nanny is quiet and well behaved in the home and is crate trained is also housetrained.
