MEET PHOENIX!! **Please Note: this is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/process applies.

Phoenix is a beautiful dog who was left behind when her family moved. She was tired of sleeping outside on the cold cement without anyone to love or care for her.  Phoenix heard that Underdog Rescue of Arizona finds 'only the BEST homes for their dogs, and asked me to submit write a few words about her!

Although a bit shy at first,  Phoenix desperately wants to be a part of a loving family. She enjoys playing with other dogs but is not a huge fan of cats but. With positive reinforcement training, her attitude towards felines may change. Phoenix LOVES the companionship of humans!

Phoenix would be a great agility dog (she can scale a six-foot fence!) and she takes to training with treats like a champ! She seeks a patient, dog-experienced owner who wants a loyal and docile new best friend.

Phoenix wants to please and will spend the rest of her life trying to make her family happy. She would be a great addition to just about any family, now to find those lucky people!

If interested in Phoenix please complete an application or send an email to info@underdogaz.com

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
