Alden's Story...
We don't know much about Alden, he came to us from an Open Admission Shelter as a newly found stray. Poor Alden was filthy, hungry and had bad skin from fleas and dirt. He had been eating garbage and had a tummy ache. He was given an soothing bath, fed some high quality food and put into one of our loving foster homes. In less than a week Alden has received a pending adoption!

EARS is committed to placing all our dogs in quality forever homes. We require an adoption application/contract and a home visit, (or if you live outside our local area a recommendation from your vet), before we will release an animal. Healthy dogs and puppy adoption fees are $350.00. An adoption form can be downloaded from our website www.EARSAnimalRescue.com.

All dogs are examined by our vet when rescued, they are brought up to date on vaccinations and all preventive medications such as Heartworm and flea meds. All medical issues are dealt with and dogs are micro-chipped. Animals are spayed or neutered, (in the case of a puppy we will arrange for this when they reach the correct age). All our dogs are fostered out to our wonderful volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alden, a Englewood Lhasa Apso/Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Cockapoo for sale in Englewood, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Cockapoo dog from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Cockapoo breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
