CLEMENTINE (Courtesy List)'s Story...
Meet Clementine. She is a 2 year old BC/ Aussie mix. She is spayed and has all her shots. Unfortunately, I am moving to a place where I can't have her. She likes dogs and plays well. I don't have cats so I don't know about that. She likes toys. She is house broken and I occasionally allow her to sit on my lap. She loves that. She has very good manners around me. She is high strung when visitors come and jumps all over people. Like a lunatic she will need some further obedience in learning manners. I have very few visitors so have not fixed this problem, but she is smart and wants to please. If you are interested in Clementine, please contact her owner, Sandy, directly at slkpots@aol.com or at 562.370.4838. Clementine is currently in the Crestline area, but her owner will be moving to Long Beach in the near future. There will be a rehoming fee that will be donated back to Border Collies In Need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CLEMENTINE (Courtesy List), a San Pedro Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
