What a beauty Dozer is!
He's a male adult Rottweiler mix with a long tail! He apparently hasn't had the best of care and has been diagnosed with Demodex Mange (not contagious). He is on oral medication which will need to continue for a few months. He's friendly, and settles down pretty well on a leash after an initial burst of excitement. He could use some TLC in a loving home. If you're looking for a big buddy, come out & meet him!
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful people at the Del Norte County Animal Control located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a coastal city on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play.
We want you to see some really great dogs that they have in their care--it's just a 2-hour drive from Medford to adopt your new BFF!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday & Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
