Hi everyone, My name is Shadow and I am so much happier now that I am not chained up anymore and got a good brushing and bath to get rid of all that nasty old coat and awful smell - pee-yew! I'm afraid I had a pretty awful life before I was picked up, sent to the local humane society and then taken into rescue by Moonsong. As you can see by the pics, I have made quite the transformation as far as looks go. They say I still have a few pounds to gain as I was terribly skinny when picked up. I was also scared and am still pretty shy around new people, but if you have treats and treat me nice, I will eventually warm up and come over for some good Mal leaning to get some rubs and scratches. I like other dogs, big and small and like to play. I would prefer to be in a home with another friendly dog or two who can help me overcome my fear of people. I haven't made messes or marked in my boarding "room", but really haven't lived inside, so I'll need some help learning about all that. I will need someone who is patient and willing to help me with my fears and lack of socialization. I'm willing to learn, though, so please fill out an application if you are up for a "project dog". I will give you lots of kisses for all your hard work with me!
