Rose Marie's Story...
Rose Marie was found as a stray in Plainview. She had been on her own for awhile and was terrified of being caught but she finally surrendered during subzero temperatures as she was very cold and hungry.

Rose Marie is about two years old and is as sweet as can be. She is a docile and laid back cat. She loves her humans and is so grateful to be warm, loved, and well fed.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose Marie, a Rochester Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
