Hi there. My name is Frederico. I'm about 3 years old and I weigh about 12 lbs.
I was dumped here at the pound after hours on a weekend with two other dogs so there is no history on where I came from. Whoever dumped us, didn't even bother to put us in a kennel, they just tossed us out and left. Naturally, we wandered over to the jail/ sheriff's office which is next door to the pound. The staff there tried to catch us, but we wouldn't come to anyone. The Sheriff's dispatcher called to let one of the girls know we were here running around.
The girl from the pound did come out that night too try to get us rounded up and in out of the cold. She managed to get me to follow her inside the office and she was able to close the door. She was able to easily catch me once inside as I am a very friendly little fellow, I was just terrified at first.
I love being held and giving you lots of kisses.
I get along good with other dogs too.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER FEBRUARY 12, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
