Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blue Jay is senior guy looking for a soft bed and a gentle person to take him home. This boy has been through an incredible amount in his long life. If he could talk, oh the stories he could tell. He does have some bb's still in his body, however they are not causing any pain or discomfort. Blue Jay is most comfortable with women, however some of his favorite people here at the center are men. It just takes a little time for him to get there. Once he knows you, he looks up at you with those eyes, as if to say "thank you" for every minute you spend with him. Due to his past, he wants more than anything to be in the company of people. Blue Jay loves little dogs and is very sweet and gentle with them. He can also learn to love other mellow dogs like himself after just a few walks together. Blue Jay is extremely easy to walk on leash and very happy to accompany you in the car for whatever adventures you have in mind. He would make a great co-pilot! Once you are in his circle, he greets you with a happy tail wag, warm smile and kisses. We love this boy and want nothing more then to give him comfort in his last years. Age 14 yeras. 45 lbs.
