Riann's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Riann is a sweet and sensitive pug.  She came to us when her family was forced to get rid of many of their family pets.  She was bred and born in that home and now finds herself looking for a forever home.  We are looking for families who have experience with bracialcephalic dogs and understands their needs (like needing to wear harnesses and unable to swim).  She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with vaccines.  You can find out more about our adoption process at: http://recycledpetsnorcal.org/adoption-process/

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riann, a Sacramento Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
