Victoria's Story...
Victoria was born in Tennessee. One of our volunteers has a home there and travels back and forth a few times a year. There is an SPCA that really doesn't get many pets adopted. So, we brought a few of them here to sunny South Florida to find them loving homes. Victoria is a fabout 4 years old. She is OVER THE TOP affectionate. She pushes her head on your face to get kisses. She is very unusual looking as well. She has tufts of hair on the ends of her ears. She does with with other dogs and cats.

To adopt Victoria, you must go to our website (www.strayaid.org), download, fill out and email back (mail@strayaid.org) the cat adoption application. We will then call you within 24 hours to set up a time for you to meet Victoria. If you have any questions call Diane at 954-816-0799. WE KEEP OUR LISTINGS UPDATED DAILY, SO IF YOU SEE THIS PET, IT IS AVAILABLE!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Victoria, a Fort Lauderdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
