This sweet baby was an owner surrender. He is ok with kids, but does not like anyone in his face. If he is unsure of someone (mostly men), he will bark and go for a foot! (Lol) But once he gets used to them he's fine! He likes other dogs. He does have IVDD (Intervertebral Disk Disease), which is very common in this breed. He runs and plays and gets around very well. He loves toys. He sleeps very content and quiet in his kennel.
Skippy went to see Dr. Brannon and confirms he does have IVDD. Several disks that are degenerated, one that is completely calcified (chronic), and one that is herniated. He does have some incontinence that is a result of the IVDD. He was put on anti-inflammatories and see how he does. If not better we are to report back to Dr. Brannon to discuss options for precious little Skippy. Depite all of this, he gets along fairly well, is very happy, and doesn't mind his doggy diapers!
