Lady's Story...
Hi,

I am called Lady and my foster Mom said I have a new lease on life. I was adopted as a baby, but then, due to family illness, I had to go. I was so happy then. Daddy bought us lots of toys and gave me loads of love. Currently, I am in foster care and would prefer being your only baby. I love to talk to you and especially love to be spoken to sweetly. When you do, I roll all over and just put on a show. I love to be with you all the time and will follow you everywhere. I am a very curious girl and do like to explore high places and look out the window. I like to give head butts and rub all over you. I love it when you pet and scratch me and am very social with the person I love. I also love to snuggle next to you in the bed, so you never have to worry about being lonely. BUT, I am also a playful girl and Mom says I still think I am a kitten...what's wrong with that?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Tampa American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
