Tino's Story...
Tino was in harm's way, living in parking lot, on busy street, with other cats.
We rescued 6 kittens, upon hearing of this spot.

We set a trap, and he went in. On the way back from the vet, he started meowing, and pleading, not the usual FERAL behavoir.

We took him into foster care, and lo and behold, if we did not have the most charming, loving, cat loving, people loving cat.
He WAS afraid at first, but showed no signs of aggression at all.

It took 2 weeks, then he decided, he was going to be part of the family, he grooms other kitties, loves his foster mom, his comb, and laps.
He is a real gem, and we are so glad we were able to save him.

Tino is also microchipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tino, a Palm Springs Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palm Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palm Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
