Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes a cat needs time. In Tootsie's case, she needed a place. When Tootsie came into the shelter, she stayed in one of the upper cat condos in a room with a number of other cats. Tootsie was a lovely cat, but she seemed unhappy. She did not seem to want to interact with volunteers, and when prospective adopters came in, Tootsie turned her face to the wall. Thinking she might need a quieter location and a little extra socialization, we moved her to a lower cat condo in the playroom. Within 24 hours of moving Tootsie was a lap cat. Within a few days, Tootsie was strolling around the room and occasionally nuzzling volunteers. Tootsie clearly wants a home where she can find her own quiet spot, some sunshine to bask in, and an occasional lap to nap on. In return, Tootsie promises to be your little honey bunch.
