Maya's Story...
Maya is a gentle female terrier/Schnauzer mix, 5 years old and weighing 15 lbs. She was adopted from FUPI 2 years ago and has just been returned as her owner is moving and cannot take her with her. She is a little shy at first meeting, but has a loving personality once she knows you. Is good around dogs, but children and cats are unknown. Leaving her home has been unsettling for her, so she needs an owner with the desire to make her feel loved and secure again.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Las Vegas Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
