Meet with Barkley!
If you are looking for calm dogs that can accompany with children or other dogs and cats in your house, that’s definitely Barkley!

On a typhoon night a rescue lady found a carbon which has 5 puppies soaked in the rain shaking and crying next to a trash bin. Knowing the pups won't survive without assistance she scooped up the pups, brought them home.

Barkley is one of these puppies!
After cleaning, feeding the pups, Barkley immediately showed her affection toward her rescuer licking her face and rolled on her back with a wagging tail.

She was taken in, dewormed and vaccinated. She got a clean bill of health from the vet.
Barley is potty trained and housebroken. She follows the commands very well
Barley is a little shy when she meets with the strangers at the first, she needs
some time to warm up by treats

By nature, Barkley is very sweet and well-tempered .She is ready for a forever home and starts her new journeys. Please give Barkley a loving home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barkley, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
