Carl is a male Golden Retriever approximately 4 years in age. He is a big boy, weighing in at 75 pounds full grown. Carl has a healthy, soft gold coat and soulful, kind brown eyes. He is a beautiful, classy dog, likely purebred although we do not have papers. He walks with a gorgeous bounce in his step with his feathery tail waving behind him. Carl is really, truly fantastic in every way. He is housebroken and has excellent manners inside the home. He knows how to sit, lay down, and stay and is very responsive to any and all voice commands. He loves his treats and will take them gently from your hand. Carl walks beautifully on leash and is very manageable despite his large size. He respects people, however, you will fall madly in love with him because of his big, warm, kind heart. He is an absolute love, delightfully affectionate and fabulous with anyone he meets. He does not bark that we have heard and welcomes company with ease. He is outstanding with children, other dogs, and even cats. We simply cannot believe that such a nice dog as this ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in the area. He is pure gold, through and through. Carl will put his head up against your legs and rest it there while you stroke his head. He truly adores people and wants to be included in the family. He is so easy to include because he is wonderful to be around. Carl is healthy and looking for his true, loving, forever home today!
Carl’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Carl is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam and Allen and is ready for his forever home.
