Porko's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Porko's Story...
Porko's owner sadly passed away and her young son was left with the hard decision as to what to do with her four cats that she loved dearly.. We were happy to help with Porko who has been just a jdelight. The other cats were all taken care of as well.

Porko needs to be on "Royal Canin hypoallergenic" food (a large bag will last over 3 months) and cannnot eat anything else. Porko ia a very friendly and cuddly cat. He likes everyone he meets. Porko is in a foster home with other cats and a pug who visits often . As you can see from the pictures, Poko has no issues with the dog. When other animals don't want to play he has his favorite toy that he will go off on his own to play with, but he would rather play with some one than on his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porko, a Burlington Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
