Facts about Mabel

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Mable's story begins when she and her three other siblings ended up at our local Animal Control. The vet technician advised that the kittens were all very friendly and doing well except for this one that we named Mable. She couldn't be 100% certain without further testing, but it appeared that this one tiny kitten was having seizures.

This didn't stop us from rescuing these kittens. Mable's siblings have all been adopted and now we are hoping that there is that one special person out there that will open their heart and home to Mable and care for her needs.

She is such a friendly girl and gets along very well with all the cats and 2 friendly dogs in the foster home. She is on phenabarabol twice a day and we have been working closely with the vet and have the seizures things under control. We will be more than happy to explain everything to any potential adopter in further details.

If there is anyone that is looking for a special girl, Mable is the one. Her foster mom cannot say enough about her.

About Abandoned Cats Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Abandoned Cats Rescue is a completely independent Canadian Registered Charity supported solely by committed volunteers.....

We dedicate our time and efforts to the rescue of cats/kittens from local shelters that normally have only 72 hours to be claimed or rescued by a group such as ours. If not, they are sadly euthanized. We also focus our attention on those cats struggling to survive outdoors – the ones that have been abandoned and neglected. Our cats are housed in loving volunteer foster homes until a “forever” home is found.

All adoption fees and donations go completely to assisting the cats in our care. They are vet examined, vaccinated as age appropriate, spayed or neutered and treated for any medical needs that are necessary to ensure the health of the cat.

We never euthanize animals we can’t find homes for. We believe that there is the “perfect” home for ALL of our cats and they all deserve a chance to be loved forever!

Won’t you consider opening your heart and home to one of our many rescued cats/kittens? They are all waiting anxiously for a place to call home!
