Princess's Story...
This darling lady is Princess, a 12 year old beagle mix that is probably wondering what in the world just happened. Princess was adopted from us over 11 years ago by a good person that gave her a great life. When her owner recently became unable to care for her any longer, she was given to another family member, who in turn, brought her back to us. Princess is understandably distraught to be uprooted from the only home she has even known, but she has realized that she is in good hands and is settling in. Princess is an absolute angel and if you are looking for a well behaved, quiet, lap dog, she's your girl. Princess is super sweet, mellow, very ladylike, and housebroken too. She gets along fine with most dogs and children, and doesn't even seem to mind cats. She is healthy and was well taken care of, and just wants to go home. Please consider making this beautiful lady a part of your family.....she will love you forever for it. File#24394 2/12/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Forked River Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
