Ranger's Story...
I am a very quiet, laid back kitten. Dont get me wrong, I like to play hard, but I would rather be with you, snuggled up, being held or cuddled in a blanket. I am fine with dogs and I love children. I am good with other cats, too. I am currently fostered in Huntsville, AL but I am not picky about where my FORever home will be, as long as I am loved. If you would like to meet me, please complete an application online at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/ All of FORs kittens are in foster homes, not cages! All kittens are felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered, and micro-chipped. Ranger’s adoption fee is $75 and all applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis, so fill out your application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
