My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dotty is a female, smooth coat, Jack Russell Terrier. I found her on February 9th and have contacted everyone I know of in an effort to locate her owner. She is not micro chipped. I cannot keep her, but want to find a wonderful, forever home for her. She is a very friendly girl with a very sweet personality. She gets along great with other dogs and people. I have not been able to see how she would be with small kids, but she is good with older kids. She walks well on a leash, without pulling, and is house trained. She is not a barker, but whines a little if I leave the room. She follows behind me closely and enjoys sitting next to me to cuddle. Dotty is a little leery of men at first, but comes around with a little time. She wiggles her tail with excitement at me and loves a good belly rub. I think she would do best with someone that is home a lot or can take her to work with them. I think she enjoys having the company of someone.
