Sweet Bernadette, aka Bernie ended up in doggie jail and her owners did not come looking for her. We are certainly glad to be able to help Bernie in her journey to find her forever home.
Bernadette is a 2 year old, 15 pound, adorable mix of Havanese and Poodle. She is a little shy when meeting new people but will quickly warm up and become your forever shadow. Bernie gets along well the other dogs in her foster home and will soon be learning how to walk on leash. It seems her previous family did not do much in the way of socializing this sweet girl so we are working on building her confidence. Bernie is adjusting very well to life in her foster home. She sleeps quietly in a crate next to her foster mommy’s bed and is quickly mastering her new potty routine. Because she is a little shy, we think she will be fearful of very young children but would do well with kiddos 8 and up.
Our adoption fee for Bernie is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, professional grooming (which she has not had in her photos) and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.
