Cappy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cappy's Story...
This sweet boy is Cappy. Him and his siblings were surrendered to our rescues as the owner did not want them to end up in bad homes and she was unable to care for them. We have since helped her get the mother dog spayed to stop any more unwanted puppies. The mom is a 40 pound lab/shepherd mix according to the owner- she looked like a small German Shepherd but all the babies look like labs. Whatever he is- he is adorable and sweet. He is up to date on vet care including neuter, vaccines, wormings, flea/tick prevention, etc. According to the owner of the mother- these pups turned 8 weeks old on 2-11-15. Cappy weighs about 8 pounds currently. He is located in Arkansas but we have transport that runs to the Northeast each weekend. For more info on Cappy please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com And thank you so much for considering adoption!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cappy, a Allentown Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
