found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Although ADOPT took them in, we weren't quite sure what to do with them. The kittens were untouchable and, at their age, unlikely candidates for socialization. In spite of that, we started working with them and, surprisingly, the little girl (Jill) started showing an interest in interacting with staff. A month later came that wonderful day when we were able to pick her up and carry her around.
Her brother (Jack) proved a more difficult nut to crack. He was put into foster with a family that has worked extensively with feral kittens. They put their magic to work and, in no time, he to was ready to interact with people.
Jack and Jill are now in our kitten room and, though they still get nervous when initially picked up, they enjoy being petted and absolutely love to play.
They are now ready to go onto the next step which is to find a patient, loving family to give them a forever home. They can be adopted together or separately. If you are a pet lover who enjoys the reward of seeing your pet/s learn to love you in response to a lot of love and patience, then these cuties just might be what you are looking for.
They were born around September of 2014.
