Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a precious, small 10 year old, and we are looking for a special home for this little cutie. It's hard not to love her, she loves everyone back! She's been through a lot the past few years and she was in pretty bad shape when we got her. She is now ready for a new start! Lucy doesn't do steps at all, so a one level home is best, but she is small enough to be carried up and down steps. She isn't good on a leash so a fenced yard will be required. Lucy wants to be with her people all the time. She is also an early riser but a potty break and breakfast and she's good for another nap. She has beautiful house manners and is very gentle and is beginning to be playful. She'd be fine with dogs her size and older children. Lucy is eligible for our Senior to Senior discount.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Abingdon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
