Sally*ADOPTED!*'s Story...
SALLY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Sally is an adorable 6 week old female Beagle mix puppy in search of a forever home! Sally was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky with her mother, Marcie, who is a Beagle/Lab mix (also available for adoption) and her 7 littermates. We aren't really sure who the father(s) were but it is quite possible the litter has multiple fathers as the puppies look quite different! 2 of the puppies look like Rottweilers, 1 like a Beagle and the remaining 5 look to be Retriever mixes. Whatever they are, they sure are cute! Sally is a very happy, friendly and social puppy. She loves meeting new friends and does well with humans and other canines alike. She will be a wonderful companion for any household with the time and energy to raise a young puppy. We are estimating her adult size to be between 45-60 pounds. We place a 21 day medical hold on all of our young puppies to ensure they are not incubating any serious diseases prior to adoption. Sally and her littermates will be available to leave for their forever homes the weekend of Feb 27th. They will be around 9-10 weeks old at the time. They will also be spayed/neutered, had two series of puppy vaccines, two rounds of dewormer and microchipped prior to being placed. We are currently accepting applications for them, please email us today at for more info or an application. These precious little Peanuts pups will not last long!

• Sally's adoption donation is $375. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Sally from euthanasia.

• Please email for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally*ADOPTED!*, a Chicago Rottweiler/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Beagle for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Rottweiler/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Beagle breeders who help with Rottweiler/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
