Everyone calls me "Miss Libby", short for Miss Liberty. My rescuer thinks I embrace a sense of freedom like no one else. Some think I'm a bit homely, born on a bad hair day, but the hair is only a camouflage. I am the most loving, attentive, loyal companion on four legs. I know, when you first look at me, maybe I look a little bit like a raccoon. It's just a part of my charm.
Here you can see me prancing around with a Schnauzer on top of the mountain next to the cross on Hwy.74. I love to hike up that mountain. My tail up you see and I have been groomed. Unless I am groomed, I have a lot of curly hair all over.
I am extremely healthy, take my Nu-Vet vitamins, eat Natural Monarch Raw Pet food and i love it. My rescuer is smart, she knows that I need to eat what is biologically appropriate for my species. No bag food for me, just fresh frozen meat from the farmers market, much cheaper for her, too. It's the real thing. Everybody knows processed food is deadly, fresh is always the best. I hope you like me, and have time for me. So, if you are interested, email my rescuer.
All the best, Libbe
I live in Palm Desert and have a very nice life. However, I share my rescuer with many other friends and would like a home where I can be the princess I was born to be.

My health is perfect, and my rescuer is a natural medicine lady who helps dogs when they are sick. She has me on the diet I born to eat, and do I love it: REAL MEAT. The Natural Monarch chicken is absolutely second to none. There are no kibbelycarbs to make me fat.

This morning I ran up the mountain on Hwy. 74 all the way to the cross with my rescuer. Great exercise and I feel so good afterwards. I would make an excellent hiking partner. However, I don't have to have an owner as athletic as she is, but I must run and gets lot of exercise.

I always come when I'm called. I never want to get too far from the lady who saved my life, so don't worry about me getting lost, or running away. I couldn't catch the car that left me on the street but I tried. I was still running when my rescuer found me and I haven't been very far from her since.

I like where I live very much and do not want to move out of state. If you would like to meet me and are ready to think about adding me to your family, please email me at PetHealth1000@gmail.com.

I would be very pleased if you had a large yard and could be with me most of the time.

About loco's hideaway

About Our Rescue Group...

Loco's Hideaway has been in existence for 13 years, but has slowed because of the recession and a shortage of donations.
These two little dogs were found running, homeless and in poor shape. Although it was a hardship, I took them, and spent personal money, because I knew they would be euthanized. They are the sweetest, most lovable little dogs I have ever met. Therefore, we will be very careful where they go for a forever home. Harriett will soon be groomed and have her picture taken. At that time, she will be listed for all the world to see. She is a Schnauzer and Kerrin Terrier mix. If they could be adopted together, it would be fantastic, but it isn't necessary. I fix steamed chicken with vegetables for them, and sometimes they have a grainless kibble like A Taste of the Wild, but fresh, of course, is best. Neither one of them had ever been on a leash. They need training. They get attached very easily, and don't want you out of their sight at the dog park, or they panic. I will be happy to answer any questions you have. We are in no hurry, and will know when that wonderful family appears. There is no limit to their affection, and unlimited love is all they ask in return.
