My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog's Name: Puffball 2. This cutie was recently rescued from a high-kill shelter and will first be ready to meet/adopt on Fri., Mar. 6th. Our hours are 10-4. Walk-ins welcome and we do same day adoptions pending your application is approved. We encourage you however, to get pre-approved to adopt by filling out the application below-see link and email it to Lisa@spca914.org. Please note, we do not hold or reserve dogs (whether or not you are pre-approved) and it is always first come, first serve pending approval. Last day to get pre-approved is Tuesday, Mar. 3rd. If you miss the deadline please just bring your completed application with you or fill it out that day when you arrive. Thanks!

Please fill out an Adoption Application if you'd like to jumpstart the adoption process. To obtain an Application, please click or copy and paste the following link into your computer browser: http://www.spca914.org/forms/dogadopt2015.doc or email Lisa@spca914.org.

No appointment is necessary to come in and meet/adopt an animal unless noted differently above. Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday's 1pm-4pm. You may also fill out an Application when you get here. We do same day adoptions. Please note, we do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. Even if you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved Application with us this does not necessarily guarantee you will get that particular puppy or dog. Also note, even if approved to adopt from us, if you have a dog(s) at home they MUST meet the dog(s) you are interested in adopting from here to ensure they get along before you can officially adopt. All Dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate) and come with a free 7 day Veterinarian check from a participating Vet!

High Kill Shelter/Southern Rescues, both Puppies and Adults are $350, All Puppies are $350 and Local Stray Adults over 1 year of age are $200-$350. Seniors and Lonely Hearts Club members are $75. Please visit: http://www.spca914.org/adoptanimal.htm to read our Adoption Policy and Procedures in full.
