OPPIE's Story...
Meet Jax, Oppie & Gemma! These 3 precious pups were discovered in southern Missouri in the middle of winter. Sadly 5 of their siblings had frozen to death and help came too late for them. These 3 were still alive but suffering in the cold. Their mom is a Beagle and dad is a Yellow Lab. Local volunteers are working to capture them so they can get the care they need, we are hoping to take them into our rescue as well. They will be available for adoption once they have been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350. For adoption policies and to submit an online application please visit our website at this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OPPIE, a Lincoln Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
