Calvin, 3 y/o, Male, Weimaraner. Calvin was surrendered to a shelter by his senior owner, who had health problems and could no longer take care of him. We believe Calvin has been an outdoor dog, as he has characteristic calluses on his elbows and his coat shows signs of sun damage. He is very big – tall and a bit over weight also. He seems like a very sweet, but frightened, Weim. He did not seem to react to other dogs in the shelter. He was very happy to be leaving the shelter! Calvin has an appointment with the vet to be neutered, evaluated, and basic care. He will benefit from lots of love, a good diet, exercise, and obedience training. We do not know if Calvin has any experience with children or cats, so we are looking for a home for Calvin without small children or kitties. We will update Calvin’s bio as we learn more about him.
