Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Benton is an adorable, 21 pound, blond, male cocker spaniel. He is guesstimated to be 1-2 years old and unfortunately tested heartworm positive. We are handling this by keeping him on an Ivermectin based heartworm prevention until he tests negative for heartworms, which should be within 1-2 years (or less). Once he tests negative he will no longer have any restrictions as to what type of heartworm prevention he can use. The groomer fell in love with him, telling us that he is a real sweetheart! He will be neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations as soon as we can get him scheduled for his surgery. He’s good on a leash, good in the car and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom and he is working hard on his house manners. If you would like to adopt Benton and give him a great home please visit www.arfarkansas.com to find the link to our on line adoption application.
