Minnie's Story...
Minnie is the cutest grey girl cat with a tiny black nose and little white chin. Her big green eyes are very expressive, although the usual expression in them is one filled with lots of love. Minnie has lived with other cats and dogs in her old home before she was given up, through no fault of her own, so we think she would do well with other cats and dogs in her new home. Now that Minnie has broken out of the shelter in Maryland that she was left in and come to 4Paws she has the best possible shot at finding her forever family. Minnie likes to run around playing with her toys and chasing them all over the room. Minnie is an affectionate kitty girl who wants to be where her people are, being the center of attention like the adorable and very important cat that she is. Please come and meet Minnie and help her find her new forever home!

Minnie was born in February 2012. She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and is up to date on all her shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
