Tank came from a bad situation. He needs a special home with someone that is willing to work with him. He appears to be very shy of new people when he first meets them. It is because he is afraid. If you take the time to take him for a walk and give him a few cookies, he realizes that you mean him no harm and he turns into a very loving dog and your best friend. He really is a very loving young man and loves to play. Tank needs a home where he is the only pet. While he does have some mastiff in him, he is definitely mixed with something smaller. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and could be a little bigger when full grown, but he will not be what I would consider to be a large dog. Rescue a forever friend!
About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please email the dog's foster listed above (no phone calls, please). There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet which will be arranged with the pet's foster. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
