Mika (I changed her name, ACS named her Sassy, she is not a Sassy) is a very sweet and loving dog. She was saved from EBI on 2/10/2015. Mika is well mannered and loves to have someone pet her. She seems to do very well in the crate so obviously was crate trained and also does well with going potty outside. She weighs 80 pounds. She seems to do well with other dogs but we are still in the quarantine period but she has seen our other dogs in passing at times and there has been no signs of aggression such as growling or pulling on the leash.
I was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved me and now they are helping me find the forever, loving home that I have never known.
I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
If you are interested adopting, please email email@example.com with Pet name and ID#. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond as all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
