Leia is a happy go lucky puppy! Leia is a great temperament puppy. She loves to be around people and is super friendly with everyone she meets. Leia is also very good with the foster family’s son who is 7 years old. She will do well in a home with young children. Leia is a super sweet and cuddly girl and will do well in any homes that is willing to open their hearts to this cute puppy!

Leia was found abandoned in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. Poor Leia is such a strong puppy surviving on garbage. An old lady who runs a nearby no kill shelter spotted her when she was driving down the mountain. She got off her car immediately and rushed her to the vet. Luckily, she is one healthy puppy. The lady knew her shelter overcrowded with over 350 dogs is not an ideal environment for her to grow up. She called Leia’s now foster mom for help. Leia’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and trainer. Her home is full of dogs waiting for homes. However, she didn’t have the heart to turn her back on her and see her suffers. She went to the vet and brought Leia back to her home filled with love and proper care. She promised her a loving home and will never let her starved again.

Leia has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed and microchip. She is a healthy girl and patiently waiting for her forever home where she can grow up safe and happy! Will you be that special family for Leia?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leia, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
