George-Courtesy Posting's Story...
George was dubbed George Washington since he was pulled from the shelter on July 3. We believe he is a beagle basenji mix. He gets along with everyone though, even the cats and the toddler who lives with him. He is a 1 0 yr old boy who LOVES fetch, and running! He is house broken and very sweet. He's a complete cuddle bug, and loves to be with you. He is neutered, vaccinated and chipped. Please contact his foster mom Leslie at 619-981-9316 for more info on George

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George-Courtesy Posting, a El Cajon Beagle/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basenji for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Beagle/Basenji dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basenji breeders who help with Beagle/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
