Penny, Adoption Pending's Story...
Meet Penny...I am a 1 yr old Rat Terrier that found myself at the shelter and my family never came to claim me. I am a very sweet girl who is just looking for someone to love me. I am good with other dogs, crate trained, housebroken, rides well in the car and walks very nicely on a leash. I would make someone the perfect friend. This picture is my shelter pic and doesn't do me justice so come and meet me in person. I am spayed vaccinated and chipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, Adoption Pending, a El Cajon Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
